The latest Jubile version of the Folia model has further improved the performance of this endearing speaker. The use of an aluminum basket bass unit, more rigid than ABS, improved the impulse response and thus the dynamics. The phase piece on its tweeter improves its directivity and linearity. The large felt surround on its front panel diffracts the first reflections on the cabinet and improves the quality of the sonic image.

Its loading principle allows the use of almost no damping, so the lowest octaves maintain a beautiful legibility with no feeling of constriction often present when using a small volume cabinet.

Designed to be hung on the wall or sited near it, the Folia Jubile will give even more substance and energy to the low register. The laterally positioned and mirrored vents infuse a complementary and very homogeneous sound field in the low-midrange register, the presence of the wall behind them will not disturb precision in this portion of the spectrum.

The stereophonic image is stable and precise and opens wide even beyond the speakers, a sign of a rigorous phasing of all components.

ACOUSTIC CHAMBER:
Asymmetrically coupled and tuned dual cavity system with a mirrored side vent for the pair. This loading allows the use of close or against a wall placement. Asymmetrical loading chambers limit parallel surfaces in the internal cabinetry and allow the use of a strict minimum of damping material, thus preserving the naturalness and transparency of bass frequencies reproduction. The tweeter is in the center of the cabinet for an even dispersion of the signal in the vertical and horizontal plane. A cabinet of 19mm medite with rounded front edges to avoid edge effects is employed. Pressed assembly of all joints guarantees structural stability.

WOOFER/MID:
130mm paper hypergraph cone woofer manufactured in France, aluminum basket, flat decompressed spider, 25 mm voice coil on Kapton support, treated with a specific coating to dissipate high temperatures, double magnet system and METLEX rubber surround of extreme quality offering fast and strong bass response.

TWEETER:
25mm pure silk dome ensures a very linear response. Double neodymium magnet, non-ferro-fluid air gap made possible by a double tuned rear chamber ensuring a low resonant frequency. Adoption of a “half-moon” phase piece with a waveguide improving the horizontal directivity of the tweeter as well as its linearity on axis.
