DV-20X2A H/L Moving Coil Cartridge

For more than 35 years Dynavector have established an enviable reputation for producing affordable high quality moving coil cartridges. Using the same base structure as the higher-end models XX-2A and Te Kaitora Rua, the new 20X-2A has a solid aluminium alloy body, hard aluminium cantilever and a Micro-Ridge stylus tip.

The new 20X-2A model is a new model, manufactured with a special annealing process that focuses on optimizing the magnetic properties through controlled annealing temperature, environment, heating duration, and heating / cooling rates, resulting in delivery of expansive resonant sound without distortion and unrivaled resolution.

This DV-20X2A phono cartridge has 2 types, in order to match your system.
The 20X2A-L (low output model) has typical moving coil cartridge low output, while the 20X2A-H (high output model) is an MC cartridge that suitable for use with most moving magnet phono stage or preamp/amp inputs. The high output version is ideal for those who want to fully enjoy the sound from a moving coil cartridge, without the need to use a step up transformer or high gain phono preamp.

DV-20XA has a solid aluminum alloy body and a rigid magnet construction similar to XX-2A. The cantilever is a 6mm length of hard aluminum pipe with a Micro Ridge stylus. The magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism along with powerful neodymium magnets gives the 20X2A-H a healthy 2.8 mV output - suitable for most MM inputs. The 20X2A-L has an output of 0.3 mV ideal for most MC phono stages.
