Consonance Linear200 MkII
The Consonance Linear200 MKII is a versatile and advanced integrated amplifier featuring 3 analog and 3 digital inputs (USB, Coaxial, and Optical) for its built-in DAC. Its AK4490 DAC chip and advanced X-MOS module support DSD playback up to DSD256, providing an immersive listening experience for all high resolution music formats from any digital source.
Utilizing robust KT120 tubes in a push-pull configuration with auto-bias, this amplifier delivers a visceral performance of any music via analog or digital inputs. With a refined tube-rectified power supply, custom transformers and 35 watts of power, it has the drive for most any speakers.
Listening notes – Wow. This is definitely not a generic tube amp. It’s alive! The music ebbs and flows and grooves with the feel of live music. Tonally, instruments are neither threadbare nor over saturated...it does sound “well-judged” and complete. It’s a pleasure to hear my favorite music through this amp, presented with natural detail and no trace of artifice or analysis, and with power and control. What a well-rounded amp, it drove any speaker I paired it with. A really nice amp, and with an onboard DAC is becomes a great all-rounder.
