Consonance AMP150

The AMP150 is a high-performance "Swiss Army Knife" component that integrates multiple functions for all music sources and drives your loudspeakers. Connect to streaming platforms like Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, etcetera and conveniently enjoy your music. Or connect your high-end source component using the digital or analog inputs. You can connect your USB hard drive or USB thumb drive containing your digital music collection. Another connection can be over your local network to a shared drive or file server to play your music. The AMP150 acts as an AirPlay or Roon endpoint as well for streaming via network or bluetooth, and the music library and streaming functions for your local music library can be controlled by any device on your network with a web browser. 

The RCA and XLR inputs, two pair of each, are flexible for use with any line-level source device such as a CD player, music streamer, phono preamp, tape decks and others. The input selector switches incorporate gold-contact relays of outstanding quality in order to guarantee freedom from harmonic distortion and background noise.

The AMP150 combines the best of old-school musicality and modern functionality. With a high damping factor, it is powerful enough to drive most any loudspeaker with a nominal impedance greater than 2 ohms..

Listening notes – It does combine traits of excellent solid-state and tube amps. The control and agility of low frequencies is brilliant, while maintaining real finesse with whatever you play through it. That this level of enjoyment can be paired with the amount of flexibility and convenience of music sources is marvelous. Very addictive, bravo Opera!
